We are seeking a skilled and experienced technical engineer to join our APAC Product and Technology team. As a technical engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality applications that meet the needs of our stakeholders.

About The Team

Our team is a part of the DEE Technology APAC division, with members spanning across China, Japan, Singapore,and Melbourne, our team brings a diverse range of expertise to the table. We work collaboratively to maintain and enhance platforms and applications across the APAC region. We are dedicated to providing tailored developmental support for the APAC market.

Key Responsibilities

Leverage Agent-based architecture to optimize existing business processes and provide efficient, stable workflow solutions.
Build a domain-specific knowledge base tailored to a particular business area by designing a customized knowledge base architecture that addresses the unique requirements of the field. Develop and implement a construction plan, including data collection, structuring, and integration with relevant business processes, to ensure seamless access and utilization of knowledge throughout daily operations. Integrate and orchestrate various AI models (proprietary and open-source) for tasks such as reasoning, retrieval, summarization, and structured data extraction
Work with team to have Technical Grooming sessions to design Architect and technical solutions
Should be able to effectively and closely work with stakeholders in gathering and validating requirements etc.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to ensure seamless integration of features and timely project delivery
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, and efficient applications, adhering to coding standards and best practices

Maintain internal applications/systems and ensure their proper functionality
Support different APAC teams to drive agile projects

Skills & Attributes For Success

Hands-on experience with AI Agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, or Semantic Kernel)
Solid understanding of LLM capabilities and limitations – prompt engineering, function calling, context window management, and model selection (Claude, Gemini, etc.)
Familiar with the processes involved in building knowledge bases, with hands-on experience in developing production-grade RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems and knowledge graphs, and able to flexibly design and optimize knowledge systems based on business needs.
Familiar with relational and non-relational database operation, especially metadata related data storage and query
Proven experience in AWS CI/CD pipelines is considered an advantage
Experience in building REST APIs in AWS Technologies and Microservices
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Proven skills in implementing accessibility and security compliance
Exposure and experience in working in Agile/Scrum methodology
Exposure and experience in using AWS services and handling Linux Operating System and Linux commands
Experience with Python programming and multi-model AI training knowledge is a plus
Good communication skills in verbal and written English

Preferred Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree and above in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
5+ years of professional experience in web application development
