Job Summary:

The Executive Director of Strategy, Operations, and Business Planning will play a crucial role in supporting our licensed business, Global Brand Commercialization (GBC). This position is dedicated exclusively to the GBC business and will collaborate closely with the Senior Vice President of GBC, APAC, to establish key strategic priorities and identify, evaluate, and pursue new opportunities. The Executive Director will oversee the successful execution of projects, ranging from straightforward to complex, and will support operations across various functions, including franchise, category, and channel. Additionally, this role will focus on driving automation, process improvement, and optimization to enhance team effectiveness and efficiency. The Executive Director will carry significant responsibility for understanding, articulating, and executing key initiatives and projects while serving as a trusted advisor to the head of GBC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Senior Vice President of GBC, APAC, in executing strategic priorities through effective coordination, communication, and detailed project management.
  • Set strategic direction and drive innovative solutions to ensure alignment between business objectives and the overarching strategic vision.
  • Lead operational integrations, activations, solutions, and strategic initiatives with a global perspective.
  • Proactively identify and assess strategic, operational, and other opportunities in collaboration with key leaders and stakeholders across GBC and DCP.
  • Coordinate initiatives and track results to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Translate strategy into actionable plans through long-term planning processes with key GBC leaders in APAC.
  • Oversee the implementation of select transformational initiatives.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deliverable dates are met while effectively communicating any roadblocks or risks; establish contingencies for unforeseen events.
  • Follow up on strategic opportunities and initiatives to ensure proper operationalization and execution.
  • Foster a workplace environment that promotes collaboration and encourages innovative and creative thinking.

Job Requirements:

Candidates must possess the following qualifications for consideration:

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressively complex client management experience, with a proven track record of leading teams to successfully execute strategies and programs.
  • Experience in a matrixed organization, collaborating with multiple leadership teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work with executive-level contributors and stakeholders, including strong presentation skills at the executive level.
  • Demonstrated versatility and adaptability to work across a wide range of functions.

  • A proactive approach to new opportunities and challenges, characterized by a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
  • The ability to operate effectively in ambiguous situations, navigating unclear goals and objectives.
  • Strong planning and prioritization skills to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.
  • Comfort in navigating complex policies, processes, and interpersonal dynamics.
  • The ability to quickly assimilate information, identify key themes, and synthesize data from diverse sources into a coherent narrative.
  • Experience working under tight deadlines and in high-pressure environments, with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
  • A focus on developing creative solutions with a flexible business mindset.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in engaging with executives (VPs, SVPs, EVPs) during presentations, working sessions, and one-on-one interactions.
