Entertainment Driver

As an Entertainment Driver, you will assist the entertainment department in daily vehicle operation and driving work, including float driving, vehicle demand support within and outside the resort area (including shuttles, cars, trucks, etc.), and routine maintenance of vehicles (including cleaning and refueling, car light inspection, etc.).

• Truck delivery service, safely and on-time deliver cargo to required locations, including loading and unloading assistance
• Float driving, which includes:
• Driving vehicles with limited visibility and constrained conditions
• Driving positions which are not climate-controlled or weather sealed
• Driving with exterior partners for safety spotting
• Maintaining floats interior and exterior cleanliness
• Basic float maintenance, include equipment testing and fluid refills
• Acceptance of wearing character costumes or a costume, wig, and/or make-up etc. if visible to Guests as required
• Safely and on-time pick up of performers/staff and drive to required locations, including:
• Regular shuttle bus service
• Irregular car and van service
• Airport pick-up service
• Citywide pick-up and drop-off
• Event support service, including passenger and equipment transportation. Such work may be within the resort or citywide.
• Required to train on the operation of multiple vehicles including a variety of float designs, cars, trucks, vans, buses, etc.
• Required to maintain a clean China driver’s license and to train regularly on float vehicle operations, including support for performer and technical rehearsals
• Working day will consist of regular scheduled driving work, irregular driving activities assigned as needed to on-duty personnel and regular break periods.
• Vehicle daily maintenance and cleaning, including pick-ups, box trucks, vans, etc.
• Other work assigned by managers

基本条件:

• More than 3 years working experience of driving large buses, box trucks; floats driving experience preferred
• Maintain a good driving record both of job and private life
• Be proficient in driving large buses, box trucks, pick-ups, vans, cars, floats, etc. Knowledge of above equipment maintenance
• Ability and acceptance of safely driving unique vehicles with limited visibility and narrow cab space, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to use Windows computers and MS Office applications
• Driving license – Class A1，experience of floats driving preferred
• Fluent in Mandarin

Work Location:

You will be working at Shanghai Disney Resort in Pudong, Shanghai. You can take metro Line 11 to Shanghai Disney Resort station or take one of our many shuttle buses. The shuttle buses can be taken from one of several central areas across the city every day. You can find out more information during your onboarding process.
