Overall Purpose of the Role

Our team is a part of the Disney Entertainment & ESPN (DEE) Technology APAC division, with members spanning across China, Japan, Singapore, and India, our team brings a diverse range of expertise to the table. We work collaboratively to maintain and enhance platforms and applications across the APAC region. We provide tailored developmental support for the APAC market.

The intern will assist the Product and Technology team in web application testing, subtitle comparison and verification, conducting DRM checks on video content across streaming platforms, and organizing related media assets.

Areas of Responsibility

Assist the team in testing and reviewing subtitles generated by LLMs
Assist in verifying the DRM status of video content released across multiple streaming platforms
Testing of various features of the projects and sort business requirements with Jira
Assets sorting and archiving, including e.g. visual materials (stills and animations), videos, and documents

Skills Requirements

With a background in subtitle translation preferred
With digital and media majors or related internship/ experience preferred
With skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Keynote
Good understanding and communication in both English and Mandarin
Detail-oriented, outgoing, and passionate
