Job Summary:

The Shanghai Disney Resort Revenue Management & Analytics team provides advanced analytics and business advice to both internal and external clients across the theme park and resort. The team is responsible for revenue management and analytics for the overall resort project, which includes Forecasting and Planning, Pricing & Revenue Management, and Decision Science Support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Reporting and Analysis
  • Support and deliver internal and external revenue reports with high accuracy and efficiency
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to stay informed of business and product strategy, and timely maintain the data to ensure the accuracy of RMA database and revenue metrics
  • Understand business dynamics and analyze results using data-driven approaches for insights
  • Present critical business metrics and insights to leadership in a clear, concise manner
  • Drive continuous improvement in the automation of reporting and analysis processes

  • Short-term and Long-term Revenue Forecast and Planning
  • Develop, refine, and optimize forecasting models incorporating business drivers such as seasonality, pricing strategies, and product initiatives to set proper volume and rate targets
  • Analyze variances between actual and forecast across key metrics and influencing factors, and continuously improve the forecast accuracy
  • Lead advanced analytics initiatives and champion the automation of forecast process
  • Enhance business presentations and data visualizations for business insights

  • Project Revenue Projection & Post-Mortem Evaluation
  • Evaluate business initiatives and construct robust revenue models for investment projects
  • Research market information and conduct sensitivity test for scenario analysis
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, refine analyses promptly, and present evaluation results with logical structure and clarity
  • Conduct comprehensive post-mortem evaluations upon project completion to systematically identify improvement opportunities and capture key lessons learned

  • Pricing Strategy & Revenue Management
  • Analyze pricing elasticity for park products leveraging statistical models
  • Design effective pricing strategies for tickets that align with broader business priorities
  • Build and improve analytical models to optimize yield by balancing demand and rate

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Statistics, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • Master’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of experience in business, finance, data analysis, or planning.
  • Advanced financial and statistical modeling skills with strong business acumen
  • Proficient in Excel, SQL, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau), and experience in Python for data processing and analytics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese, and strong storytelling and presentation abilities
  • Team-player, collaborative, with a strong sense of ownership, and attentive to detail
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking; able to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
  • Proactive mindset, dedicated to continuous improvement and delivering high-impact results
  • Strategic thinker, adept at anticipating challenges and identifying long-term opportunities
