
Senior Ride Technician, Electrical/Mechanical
Job Summary:

As a Senior Ride Technician, you will execution the hands-on maintenance work for the troubleshooting, repair and refurbishment to ensure the maintenance quality. Having good teamwork and cooperation spirit while understanding safety, regulatory compliance and productivity are important.
Responsibilities:
- Execute test, preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, major rehab, or installation on a wide variety of equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems for the ride and show elements, and accomplish the assigned tasks
- Confirm that the input of all Maximo work orders (working hours, materials, etc.) and the use of handsets meet the company's requirements in the current shift, and optimize the system work plan and compile new work plan. Follow up work order, familiar with technical documents and processes
- Supervise and lead the current shift technician team and contractors to ensure the safety norms and technical requirements of on-site work. Prioritize the work order and arrange the work of the current shift. Become project experts in specific areas, provide professional advice to the team to solve problems more effectively. Be good at troubleshooting and corrective maintenance
- Attend job training sessions and knowledge and performance assessment training, then pass examinations
- Attend or chair the shift meeting. Cooperate with the competent technician for daily work. Plan the resources and time of each shift maintenance task reasonably (daily and weekly scheduled maintenance, overhaul plan, collaborative work, small projects, etc.), communicate and cooperate with internal and external partners to ensure the smooth progress of the task
Basic Qualifications:
- More than 8 years’ work experience in equipment maintenance;
- Major in Mechanical, Electrical or Automation is preferred;
- Electrical: Must master one or more aspects of professional knowledge such as electrical maintenance, electrical control, PLC control logic, engine, etc. Able to read electric drawing and hold low voltage electrician operating certificate, the maintenance electrician senior certificate holder is preferred;
- Mechanical: Must master one or more aspects of professional knowledge such as mechanical maintenance, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance, etc. Able to read mechanical drawing, the maintenance fitter senior certificate holder is preferred;
- Have basic people leading skill and also proficiency on the application of the company information tools such as Maximo, Handheld, EDMS, etc., lead the technician team to complete the work tasks at Disney standards in respect to both quality and safety
- This position requires good project planning ability. It is necessary to arrange the materials and resources required for the project, including the procurement schedule. Collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure that these resources are available for on-site project implementation. It is necessary to maintain contact and coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure that the project can proceed smoothly and safely. Good learning ability and excellent team player, good communication skill and people leader with positive attitude
- Able to learn and understand technical maintenance plan and to read engineering drawings independently
- Full availability for any dates in a week and any shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays

You will be working at Shanghai Disney Resort in Pudong, Shanghai. You can take metro Line 11 to Shanghai Disney Resort station or take one of our many shuttle buses.
