Job Summary:
GENERAL ROLE DESCRIPTION:
This position is be the Resort-wide System (RWS) responsible for managing and preparing RWS scope, design documentation for tender and implementation and update RWS standards for medium to larger projects with minimal supervision. RWS includes Network and Distribution system, Security & CCTV system, IPTV, WIFI, Radio system and other ELV systems in the park.
CORE FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and prepare Resort-wide system design, scope analysis, and budget estimation for projects of medium complexity. Responsible to check detail designs and calculations from engineering consultants. Provide technical direction to in-house engineers and designers, and provide technical direction to outside consultants in the production of design and tender/construction documentation. Monitor progress of work and ensure that technical quality, interdiscipline coordination and production requirements are met in RWS design. Develop or assist in developing scopes of work and engineering design estimates on RWS. Ensure conformance to department design standards, procedures and specifications. Provide Construction support to CM in quality control of working drawings, on-site implementation and witness site tests. Liaise with Authorities on submission approval and statutory inspections.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Professional registration in the field of electronic/ Computer Network engineering. Graduate of an accredited school of engineering, with a Bachelor of Computer Science/ Electronic Engineering Minimum 15+ years of experience in design and implementation of Structured Cabling Systems, Networking Systems (Cisco, H3C), WiFi, IP Telephony, Firewall, CCTV (Genetic), IPTV and Security System (Lenel), Satellite TV and Radio Phone system. Knowledge of telecommunication systems (Mobile Phone and Walkie-talkie Systems) is an advantage Hardworking, willing to learn and able to work under pressure Team player with good communication skill Fluent in both English and Chinese (Putonghua) Experienced in the construction phase with submittal/shop drawing review process and on-site field inspections.
TECHNICAL AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS:
ELV Systems design and analysis experience in the related field General knowledge of the ELV engineering discipline, including industry practices, construction methods and materials, codes, current technology and the preparation and use of contract documents in all phases of design and construction. Working knowledge of Extra low-voltage/telecommunications systems design is a must. Proficient in the use of CAD and Revit for engineering design, production, and analysis. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, and to thrive in a highly collaborative, multi-discipline project team environment. Ability to supervise a small team of consultant and designers in the production of construction documents for project of medium complexity through all phases of design. Strong written and oral communication skills, along with good interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skill and the ability to effectively delegate work to subordinates.
COMPUTER SKILL
Auto-CAD, Revit and BIM preferred
