Job Summary:

This position will be responsible for providing engineering support and technical expertise to the various Engineering Services (maintenance) teams at the Shanghai Disney Resort (SHDR).

This position will primarily be focused on Ride and Show Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

· Demonstrate a visible commitment to safety;

· Provide mechanical engineering support to maintenance team and multiple partners across the property as part of a larger team;

· Troubleshoot technical problems in attractions, provide root cause analysis with engineering solutions, risks and recommendations;

· Ensure technical quality requirements of procured or fabricated parts to meet design specification, all applicable codes and Disney standards;

· Create or update drawings, test plans and other engineering documents to delivery technical information with compliance to all applicable codes and Disney standards;

· Prepare analyses and reports including but not limited to strength and fatigue calculation, pneumatic and hydraulic calculation, acceleration evaluation, kinematics, etc;

· Lead or work with project team on the technical scopes of ride related projects throughout design, construction, test & adjust and turn-over;

· May be required to travel within China as well as to the US and other international locations for training, design reviews, manufacturer reviews, etc.

· 机械工程或相关专业学士学位；工程专业研究生优先；

· 本科毕业至少5 年的工程相关领域工作经验或者硕士毕业至少3年的工程相关领域工作经验；

· 中英文流利（书写和口语）；

· 有游乐设备相关经验者优先；

· 有限元分析相关经验者优先；

· 具有良好的团队合作精神及沟通和人际关系技巧；

· 擅长逻辑分析，并具备对问题作出工程判断的能力；

· 具有主观能动性，能够跟踪管理事项至其完成；

· 能够同时处理多个任务/项目；

· 能够在很少的监督下独立开展工作；

· 愿意接受根据需要在夜间、周末或节假日进行工作;

· 熟练使用AutoCAD, SolidWorks或等同软件；

· 较强的计算机能力 (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)。

Desired Qualifications:

· Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline is required. Post Graduate degree in engineering discipline is preferred;

· At least 5 years of experience in an engineering position with bachelor degree or at least 3 years of experience in an engineering position with master degree;

· Fluent in both Chinese and English (written and verbal);

· Experience with amusement ride is preferred;

· Experience in Finite Element Analysis is preferred;

· Team Player with good communication and relationship skills;

· Logical and analytical thinker with the ability to apply engineering judgment to problem solving;

· Self-starter with the ability to manage issues through to completion;

· Ability to balance productivity on multiple tasks/projects simultaneously;

· Able to work independently with minimal supervision;

· Willing to work in evenings, weekends or holidays as needed;

· Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks or equivalent;

· Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
