助理角色艺术家为角色艺术和图形艺术提供突出的领导和管理工作，提供艺术指导、概念、设计开发、合同归档和图形协调。为上海迪士尼度假区的商品开发提供设计和艺术创造。

工作内容：      

• 助理角色艺术家是品牌、角色和故事的大使，保护公司的知识产权和品牌完整性。
• 负责所有业务线分配项目或方案的创意意见。        
• 参加所分配任务的构思、陈述和执行，跟进所有创意交付。
• 负责任务的质量、时效和成效，与制作团队紧密合作来确保最终艺术成品完成制作规格。
• 与图形设计员和产品设计员合作来创造产品设计。
• 与设计经理、产品开发、规划和采购团队合作以定义图形执行策略和质量。
• 与内部和外部客户合作以确保角色的一致性、品牌和创意标准。
• 为部门员工资源提供专家意见，包括培训、员工开发和评估、按需招聘新员工和顾问来支持项目。
• 需要时准备最终艺术成品供供应商制作。

• 图形艺术/设计、Illustration或美术专业学士学位或相当学历。
• 专业设计履历，显示图形设计领域突出的技能和经验。
• 3年以上使用Illustration/图形设计经验。
• 能够创造情景写作、背景和道具的概念技能。
• 多样化设计风格和技术工作经验。
• 良好的陈述技能，组织技能，口头和书面沟通技能。
• 突出的灵活度和关注细节的能力。
• 合作技能，能在充满活力的团队中成功。

• 突出的计算机技能，包括熟练使用Illustrator和PhotoShop以及Word, Excel和PowerPoint。

Job Summary:

Associate Character Artist provides strong design concept and management of Character art and graphic art, providing art direction, concepts, design development, contract documentation and coordination of graphics as required.  Designs and produces art for merchandise supporting Shanghai Disney Resort.

Key Responsibilities:

• The associate Character Artist is the brand, character and story ambassador, protecting the Company’s Intellectual Property and brand integrity.
• Responsible for the creative output of assigned projects or programs across all lines of business.     
• Participates in the ideation, presentation and execution of their assignments, following through on all creative deliverables.
• Responsible for the quality, timeliness and effectiveness of their assignments, working closely with the Production Team to ensure that final art is completed to manufacturing specifications for packaging.
• Collaborates with the Graphic Designers and Product Designers to create product designs.
• Partners with the Design Manager, Product Development, Planning and Sourcing teams to define Disney Character art implementation strategy and quality.
• Partners with internal and external clients to ensure that character integrity, brand and creative standards are met.
• Provides expert input for department staff resources, including training, development and evaluation of staff, new hires and consultants as needed to support projects.
• Prepares final art, ready for vendor production when required.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Graphic Art/Design, Illustration or fine arts.
• A portfolio of professional design work that demonstrates skills and experience in the graphic design field.
• 3+ years’ experience in Illustration/Graphic arts.
• Conceptual skills with the ability to create situational compositions, backgrounds and props.
• Working knowledge of diverse art styles and techniques.
• Good presentation skills, organization skills, written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible and detail-oriented.
• Partnering skills and excels in a team dynamic.
• Influencing abilities.
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in Illustrator and PhotoShop as well as Word, Xcel and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in writing, reading and speaking Mandarin and English.
