Stage Technician，Entertainment(Props)

As a Props Technician, you will assist the entertainment show department with the repair, inspection and maintenance of show equipment scenic、props .Also you will perform backstage support work for parades and shows & special events , to bring guests a complete performance experience.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure props, scenic in a good condition for shows and special events
• Inspect & repair damaged props, scenic in time
• Prepare, test and reset equipment for shows, maintain show relevant props, scenic on a daily basis
• Keeping repair status synchronous with “Maximo” system record, be able to track & trace repair activities according to “Maximo” system
• Be able to keep improving technical repair skills after training
• Other work assigned by manager

Basic Qualifications:

• More than 2 years repair technical experience of scenic, props repair
• Expertise of show relevant scenic, props maintenance and repair
• Be proficient in fiberglass repairing process, including sanding, painting, etc.
• Be proficient in using repair tools
• Demonstrated ability to use Windows computers and MS Office applications
• Repair license – Above level 3 preferred
• Walking / Standing: Frequently ; Bending / Twisting / Kneeling: Frequently bending/twisting, occasionally kneeling ; Use of hands: Constantly
• Pushing / Pulling: Frequently up to 35kg ; Lifting: Regularly up to 12kg, occasionally up to 35kg
• Working Environment: Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions & indoors in areas of low visibility. Ability to work at heights and around stage machinery
• Must be available to work all peak seasons, and holidays.
• Available to work nights and flexible shift times.
• Fluent in Mandarin
• Responsible; Self-directed; Enthusiastic about interacting and helping Cast Members and clients
• Receptive to special requests; Works with many different clients
• Willing to assist others with difficult tasks
• Able to complete daily task list and stay on schedule

Work Location:

You will be working at Shanghai Disney Resort in Pudong, Shanghai. You can take metro Line 11 to Shanghai Disney Resort station or take one of our many shuttle buses.
