Reporting to the Vice President of Global Security - APAC, the Greater China Regional Senior Security Manager Position will provide oversight, assistance and response for all security needs across Greater China. This includes event security, production security, studio security, asset and content protection, investigative support, travel security, workplace security, security technology, and incident monitoring. In an emergency, the Greater China Regional Senior Security Manager can respond, oversee and direct Disney assistance and support by providing operational capabilities, technical expertise, and policy recommendations in the performance of essential services along with TWDC Global Security internal partners, APAC business partners, third-party security vendors, law enforcement, etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Identifies security risks, designs and implements programs to safeguard employees and lines of business, as well as prevent and reduce loss to the company’s assets. 
•    Implements policies, procedures, standards, training, and methods for the protection of employees, intellectual property, product, operations and facilities from unauthorized disclosure, counterfeiting, piracy, misuse, theft, assault, vandalism, threat, emergencies and incidents, information loss, sabotage or financial loss. 
•    Leads efforts in the identification of trends or patterns of existent, suspected or potential loss of corporate assets.  
•    Identify and analyze loss indicators for company assets and businesses, and develop appropriate, cost-effective recommendations; develop methods and procedures for consistency and compliance with established security standards; participates in regional audits and self-assessments. 
•    Develops and leads resource networks in support of all or some of regional risk assessments, investigations, intelligence, security systems architecture/design and other programs and services evaluated as enhancements to the security function. 
•    Works to regional global security team on the approach, deployment, and execution of security investigations across the region. 
•    Briefs Line of Business management and operations teams on status of security issues of impact and agrees plans and tactics, along with the Director, to mitigate those.  
•    Develops and maintains professional relationships with local law enforcement and government agencies, appropriate foreign national agencies and private sector counterparts. 
•    Coordinates and works with the regional Emergency Preparedness group on emergency response. 
•    Assists develop and implement security education and awareness programs within the region.
•    Liaise with insurance providers to ensure DSA’s compliance with legislation and compliance with insurance requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
•    10+ years’ experience in private sector corporate security or a related public sector organization/law enforcement
•    Bachelor’s degree and strong grasp of written and spoken English. 
•    Strategic thinker with the ability to drive execution against a financial plan
•     Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence a diverse audience including experience working with external partners and business owners to bring product and assortments to the market
•    Successful experience working, and thriving, in a highly matrixed company structure
•    Strong organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects in an efficient manner to meet dynamic deadlines
•    Quick-learner with ability to take direction, work under pressure, and operate as part of a team Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•    Experience managing multiple stakeholders
•     Strong Team Player – ability to build & foster collaborative partnerships across functions & departments
•     Well-developed communication skills
•     Ability to manage the organizational and cultural change efforts needed to ensure new, innovative concepts, business practices, and technologies are fully adopted and integrated into the business
•    Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
•    Nice to have - Strong working knowledge of the feature film and TV production and post-production industries, services, and workflows
