Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced technical engineer to join our APAC technology team. As a technical engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality applications that meet the needs of our stakeholders. And he or she shall also be responsible to maintain internal web applications/systems e.g. Disney country website, marketing websites and internal operation tools/systems, China ICP registration management and security management for China and other APAC applications.

About the team

Our team is a part of the DEE Technology APAC division, with members spanning across China, Japan, Singapore, and India, our team brings a diverse range of expertise to the table. We work collaboratively to maintain and enhance platforms and applications across the APAC region.

We are dedicated to providing tailored developmental support for the APAC market.

Key Responsibilities

Work with team to have Technical Grooming sessions to design Architect and technical solutions
Should be able to effectively and closely work with stakeholders in gathering and validating requirements etc.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to ensure seamless integration of features and timely project delivery
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, and efficient applications, adhering to coding standards and best practices
Maintain internal applications/systems and ensure their proper functionality
Support different APAC teams to drive agile projects

Skills & Attributes for success

Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks Laravel is preferred MySQL, MongoDB, Redis
Experience in building REST APIs in AWS Technologies and Microservices
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Proven skills in implementing accessibility and security compliance
Exposure and experience in working in Agile/Scrum methodology
Exposure and experience in using AWS services and handling Linux Operating System and Linux commands
Good communication skills in verbal and written English

Preferred Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree and above in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
5+ years of professional experience in web application development
