JOB DESCRIPTION Disney Parks, Experiences and Products (DPEP) is the business segment of The Walt Disney Company that brings stories to life through global product assortments and services featuring characters from Walt Disney Studios, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Media Networks, and Interactive Media. This includes a broad assortment of merchandise ranging from toys, apparel, electronics and books to movies, music, interactive games, food, home décor and fine art. Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Creative Operations for Asia Pacific to lead in developing an operational model that enables efficiency, scale, productivity, and innovation across CPGP. Consumer Product Creative Operations support the Creation team and is accountable for project management and operations across all Creative development across APAC and any global brand focus of the Creative team, various new business models including ongoing automation, process improvement and optimization to ensure teams are operating effectively and efficiently. This role is based in Shanghai and will partner closely with internal Creative leads and teams, cross functional teams including Product Design, Brand Commercialization, Content Providers, internal and external stakeholders. This role oversees the Creative Operations team in APAC and reports to the Creative VP, APAC. Short Description of Responsibility- CREATIVE OPERATIONS • Reporting directly to the VP Creative, you will be responsible for leading the APAC Creative Operations Team to strategize and oversee operational plans and systems, processes for better efficiency in creative development. • Develop, build and coach best-in-class operations talents through inspirational and effective leadership, consistent feedback on performance and regular development and coaching. • Manage the Creative Operations team to navigate through a complex matrix of internal and external stakeholders. • Plan strategically and drive systematic review and approval processes for the Creative team. • Lead in strategically analytical exercises to achieve operational excellence. • Lead in 3rd parties and studio communications on target timelines and development schedules. (Studios include Disney, Pixar, WDAS and Lucasfilm, Marvel, National Geographic and the Simpsons) • Lead in creative special projects and artist series negotiations and contract management. • Collaborate with Global Operations teams to provide APAC insight and relevant creative solutions. • Lead in Creative budget tracking working in close partnership with the VP Creative. • Lead in high level budget allocation proposal with the VP Creative and Purchase Order approvals for the Creative team. Qualifications • A minimum of 8 years working experience in a project management or operations relevant role. • A minimum of 5 years working experience in a management leadership role. • Ability to lead a culturally and geographically diverse team. • Ability to work independently and inspire, manage a team with both optimism and logical decisiveness. • Passion for the portfolio of TWDC brands. • High level of enthusiasm and be an inspirational advocate for operational excellence. Key Skills Requirement • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. • Strong communication skills and sensitivity to cross cultural, functional conversations and focuses. • Strong organizational and operational skills. • Ability to focus in and collaborate with teams in a complex matrix of organization. • Proficient in various operational systems (Workfront, Monday.com, …etc.
