Disney media team is seeking a manager of brand solution. The position will lead efforts in shaping brand and partnership strategies, ideation, concept, execution, and working closely with multiple business segments. The role requires marketing, social media and partnership sales experiences in the entertainment industry along with strategic thinking and a strong comprehension of what works for media brands and clients.

A successful candidate will be an individual with energy, initiative and strategic thinking. He/she is a self-starter by nature, passionate about digital media, events, content, partner solution with a deep enthusiasm for National Geographic brand and audience in order to develop best-in-class solutions. He/she will also be highly collaborative and excited to work across multiple teams within the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Building, developing, and maintaining a strong relationship with our key partners by creating content marketing, event, social outlets for Nat Geo brand.
  • Working with different teams to optimize commercial opportunities from early in the process, and to ensure creative ideas have the support and back up based on internal established guidelines.
  • Initiate new brand campaigns via all channels (online, offline, inbound) for our partners.
  • Pitch, communicate and close partnership deals to generate revenue.
  • Develop comprehensive social media strategies that bring the larger marketing strategy to life across social.
  • Partner with internal creative teams and external vendors to develop top performing, high-quality social content that fuels social fandoms and elevates our content, driving high levels of engagement and conversation.
  • The position is expected to constantly leverage all the insights from brand, content, technology, sales & marketing and finance to develop strategies to stay ahead of the industry.
  • Partner with internal LOBs to execute and optimize campaigns.
  • Assist senior managers in developing workflows and processes that address the rapid changes and needs.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of professional experience in social media, digital marketing, ad sales industry, or/and media technology.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful large-scale campaigns/initiatives.
  • Proven track record of strong networks and closing successful partnership deals. 
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills, excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience presenting campaigns and delivering results to external talent and stakeholders as well as senior executives.
  • Ability to work well within highly collaborative, multidisciplinary teams across various departments.
  • Love for factual entertainment industry.
  • Team player and able to effectively work with cross-functional departments.
  • Ability to deal with dynamic internal & external environment.
  • Outstanding people skills in communication and partnership relationship management.
  • Perceptive insights in social media, marketing and sales tactics
