This position will need to effectively manage the day to day responsibility for digital media distribution function in China as main focus in the beginning. Potentially the role might also expand to:
- Distribution of the entire Disney digital content portfolio in assigned market.
- Digital licensing business model and analysis establishment and responsible for deliverables. To service both internal and external clients.
- Build and cultivate key relationships with various media networks, focusing on new media operators to advance business goals and ensure DMD’s Branded/non Branded digital offering position with customers.
- Working closely with the Director of DMD in building a sales strategy.
- Drive results for the markets with fiscal responsibility and effective management of sales budgets and the financial planning process as outlined by DMD management.
- Communicate effectively within all levels of the organization, including the preparation and presentation of timely and accurate information for management (including internal presentations).
- Think strategically and develop plans for new business models and deal renewals across new platforms for digital media distribution. This includes New Media platform (mobile, broadband, OTT, IPTV, Digital Cable), and business model such as VOD (Video on Demand), SVOD (Subscription Video on Demand) and other new model and opportunity may become feasible.
- Proactively involved in building an environment that encourages and generates ideas to improve performance as a whole team.
- Develop an appropriate sales strategy
- The Sales manager (or assistant sales manager) is required to identify and capitalize on existing and emerging business opportunities evolving through all platforms in markets. This calls for him / her to be passionately inclined to the Television and Media segments and constantly stay abreast of the marketplace. Working closely with the Head of Sales, he / she will need to come up with a go-to-market plan and execute the Sales strategy. S/he is expected to participate in budgetary decisions and will be jointly responsible for growth and revenues.
- Effectively manage the sales process
- The incumbent is required to hold significant negotiations and manage relationships. S/he will need to manage and develop key television client relationships as well as key platform relationships. S/he will have to optimize licensing terms for the Company’s branded kids content existing deals, working closely with the Head of Sales, s/he will be directly responsible for renewing deals, signing new deals and delivering deals in the required timelines.
- Highly customer oriented
- One of the main priorities of the incumbent is to establish high quality standards of program delivery, with customer satisfaction benchmarks as a key performance indicator. It requires the individual to build a genuine commitment and belief in the organization that the customer is of primary importance. Future growth can only be guaranteed by a growing number of satisfied customers. S/he would be instrumental in developing this attitude as well as putting in place processes and systems that reflect this commitment.

- It is extremely important for this person to be focused on the overall goals of Digital Team and TWDC.
基本条件Skills and Knowledge
Candidate should have:
- First class track record in operational and commercially focused roles within online media partner-facing, international companies /or digital platforms
- Ideally experienced in the entertainment and / or media sectors in Asia with exposure to US Studios
- Charismatic, intelligent with entrepreneurial zeal and the ability to work in a lean, driven environment
- Excellent communicator, with strong influencing skills and the ability to work with peers with a command over English language
- Personally credible and authoritative, able to provide leadership to a young team and to give confidence across the organization internationally
- Excellent PC skills in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and other applications
- Fluent in Mandarin is MUST
- At least 5 yrs. core experience in the media industry or preferably TV industry/digital media
- Financial modeling and business analysis acumen
- Preferably be working in the TV media/digital media distribution or acquisition business
- Have a strong concept of deal structures and media contracts
- Have a strong analytical and financial aptitude
- Have new media ad/sponsorship sales knowledge ( ideally from 4A account team with digital media specialty , or from major leading digital media platform in mainland China
- Bachelor’s degree, prefer in Business Administration, technology, management or related field
