The main responsibilities of this position are to develop and most importantly Online Travel Agency (OTA) and e-platform partnerships, familiarize yourself with each OTA client's organizational structure, business lines, and business needs. Fully analyze the business opportunities of Hong Kong Disneyland (HKDL) on each OTA to support management and sales team in business decisions. Moreover, to establish a good relationship with customers, we can deeply form strategic cooperative relations with customers, so as to promote the in-depth level of cooperation, so as to achieve annual business indicators。

This position requires maintaining good business acumen, continuous learning and familiarity with the digital economy and OTA platform, willingness to learn new marketing methods, participation in industry development forums and activities, continuously improving HKDL's digital degree in CHINA, becoming HKDL's online platform sales expert, and driving the rapid growth and development of OTA and online platform business.

Focus on developing Ctrip relationships and establishing Joint Business Plan (“JBP”) with Ctrip. As the largest travel OTA in China, Ctrip has a large user base and focuses on mid-to-high-end customers. At the same time, it also uses resources such as air tickets, tickets, hotels, etc., and has a distribution network in CHINA and HK local and international, which will become a channel for rapid recovery after being reopened. Candidates need to fully understand Ctrip's business logic and form a joint business plan to drive OTA channel rapid growth.

Assemble and develop a team to lead business development team members to run OTA and e-platform business, manage customers and achieve targets. Coach team members to improve business skills: OTA management skills, business development and negotiation techniques. And develop colleagues to become experts in promoting travel product sales and customer management. At the same time, improve personal business development skills and customer management capabilities.

Cooperate with the Director of Business Development in China to develop the China OTA and e-platform coverage plan and actively contribute to the overall business in China.

Job responsibilities:

  • Develop JBP with Ctrip and other key platform, build deeper relationship to drive brand awareness on trade conversation.
  • Lead team members meet and exceed Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets for their specific regions, including tickets and hotel room-night.
  • Develop programs to conduct regular trade education for trade partners with the assistance of direct or indirect reports. Prepare written reports, updated account information, trade and competitors’ intelligence to Director, Business Development, China.
  • Coach and develop direct and indirect reports’ capability in planning and execution of trade projects.  Establish KPI to measure team’s performance.

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree holder in business or related discipline.
  • At least 8 years of experience in eCommerce, Travel and / or Hospitality Background in China travel e-platform will be a plus
  • Strong customer management skills, in-depth insight into customer business needs, development planning, matching HKDL products and resources, and achieving annual business indicators.
  • Good awareness of the digital economy, and at the same time be able to professional digital platform business knowledge, for traffic management and sales conversion has personal special capabilities
  • Outstanding negotiation skills to manage a portfolio of trade accounts across multiple sales regions
  • Interpersonal skills of negotiation, relating and building rapport are of utmost importance
  • Fluent Mandarin is necessary to perform this job to communicate both external partners and members of OTA and Fliggy platform. 
  • Regular Chinese domestic business travel is expected for this role.
